Since the beginning of the 20th century, Bạc Liêu longan has been famous throughout the six provinces of Southern Vietnam.
During a journey of many years spent meticulously researching and preserving traditional longan varieties, Mrs. Trần Kiều (Ms. Thanh) successfully cultivated and crossbred a new longan variety named Thanh Nhãn. This longan variety features a thin peel, thick pulp, small seed, a mild sweetness that is never harsh, and a gentle lingering aroma that reflects the very heart of its grower.
Thanh Nhãn Bạc Liêu was born as the crystallization of dedication, the aspiration to reach further, and the desire to spread the value of Vietnamese longan. It is also a way to uplift the agricultural farming culture of Bạc Liêu, where the renown of ancient longan varieties is carried forward with a new story.
